Comic Artist
Hong Kong comic artist Wai On has been in the comic industry for many years and has worked for multiple comic publishers.
In 2017, Wai On co-founded the comic magazine Fingerprint of Darkness with four other comic artists and began serialising his personal work Tattoo From Hell.
In 2021, Wai On created a horror manga, Fear Of The Dark.
In 2023, Fear Of The Dark was selected for the Hong Kong Comics Support Programme and received a special commendation award.
In 2025, Wai On was invited to attend the Angoulême International Comics Festival in France and authorised French publisher Raion Editions to release the French version.
In 2026, the film adaptation of Fear Of The Dark officially started shooting in Malaysia, planned for release in 2027.
In July 2026, the first volume of Tattoo From Hell was published.
